These traditional Navajo Native American dangle earrings feature a unique stone, Dry Creek Turquoise, set in a handcrafted, detailed, sterling silver setting. The elegant, signed earrings are an example of Southwest jewelry at its finest that make the perfect gift for that special woman in your life.

Dry Creek Turquoise is pale, whitish-blue in color with very little matrix. This pale color results when there is the lack of heavy metals during formation, which is a rare occurrence. The Dry Creek Mine in Lander County, Nevada, has been closed as the result of a family dispute after the death of the owner many years ago. Since the mined closed, Dry Creek Turquoise is scarce, highly sought after and very valuable.  there are no other mines in the world for Dry Creek Turquoise
