Sunnyside Turquoise is from the Tuscarora mountain range located in the northeast part of Nevada.  This mine is no longer in operation which adds to the value of this stone.  In the 1970s, Sunnyside Turquoise was shipped to Arizona and New Mexico when Indian tribes began to use this stone in their jewelry.  Sunnyside Turquoise is known for its hardness and stunning color.
